How to make end of the world:

1.Fog of doom

2. rain

4 earthquake

repeat step 3,4 & 5 (3x)

P.S it's possible if you have infinite energy

5. swarm of bees

note:you can put the bees anywhere

Help. At one point I got a villager pregnant and then I couldn't add to the population because I did not have the last science item (which I ultimately found. So, she remained at 123 minutes for some time. After I found the last relic my population should have incresed to 100 allowing me 4 more villagers (It was at 96). However she remained at 123 minutes. I thought "ah ha" I will reduce her age. Now I have a 5 year old with a baby. Help! Any ideas?

i have completed most of the puzzles now, but i havn't got all three pieces of the necklace. I think im missing the science one but the heathen scientist is no where so i cant do it? can anyone help?

whats with the clay pot by the stream?

Nobody in my tribe can bring the necklace to the chief i have completed the puzzles except earthquake on old village but no adult or child will bring the necklace it says there is no apparent place to put the necklace while the chief is resting in the old village is there anyone who can help me please???

I have the clothing hut, destroyed the totem that the kids pull down but cannot seem to go any further as I have no master builder. Can anyone help me?

how to get the jenga, collect tons of relics/science items and convert, before you have even done all the totems!
i was aggravated that i couldnt get the jenga, or find the stuff, or get my population up, even after ive converted them all-hence finishing the game. so i started a new game and discovered this....

you must already have a 'finished game' where you have all the godly powers. most importantly, the earthquake. i had started the game like normal, 2 males (both 16) 2 females (both 16) and a kid (6yrs). i did the food, the knowing totem, then did the pain totem by using the trick i read on here about going to an old game, choosing a godly power and hitting menu to bring it to another game.
i got to the part of building the clothing hut, when i thot about the jenga puzzle. so i went to my old game, grabbed the earthquake and started shakin the place up!
in the process of bringing down my building (it was at 83% when i started), as expected, got two rare relics right off the bat. but as i look around all the red and yellows are blinking!
thinking more of the jenga, i continued to quake the building, one hit after another...not waiting for lights to go off, just hitting the building.
each time after the 2nd or 3rd time, i converted a heathen! i am currently up to almost 40 villagers, and havnt even finished the clothing hut! it converted all heathens but the chief and the purple guys within 10 minutes! even rascal! not only that, but of course each time gave me the relics, so i am only missing about 5 on each side. i havnt even bought all the tech yet hehehe i have about 6 villagers already clearing the mausoleum right now, about 4 finishing the hut, 4 farming, and the rest are racking up the research points for me! this is a theory in testing. i have not reached the end of the game, am mostly wondering if they will clear the mud pit when i get the chief or what? or if this will in fact fix the population issue of the old game. if you do this, remember that you will need a lot of food, so keep using that insta-grow on your fields til they can sustain themselves! if anything its kinda fun lol.

ok well hope this helps someone out there. love VV hope this isnt the last of my little people...a new virtual families would be cool...or a way to design sum clothes! thanks!

i've finished everything except the "you lit the fire with lightning" trophy. how to use lightning power to start a fire? coz everytime when i try, it damages and reduces my food bin. pls help!

ok so i have like 20 adult villagers working on getting tech points and im level 2 for everything(lvl 3 on learning) and its taking FOREVER TO GET TECH POINTS STILL! what should i do?

first you need to let the fire burn itself out, then get a villager to put wood and dry grass on it (but DONT light it yet!) then use your lightening power and click on the fire pit. i did it like this and it worked on my 1st try. hope i helped!:)

Anonymous March 22, 2011 9:20 PM

So i got all the neclaces peices, and itss put together, but when i put a person on it to bring it to the cheif it says theres no apparent place to bring this, What do i do???

Anonymous March 23, 2011 2:24 AM

hey thanks a ton rose714, your tip sure did help. I was aiming/angling the lightning power wrong all this time till you mentioned ‘fire pit' (stupid me).

help! i need to raise my maximum devotion! is there any way to raise it other than relics and new babies?

For anyone who is wondering it is possible to acquire three collectibles with children, using the same principal as the double collection trick.
However you need to be extremely fast, you only get once chance with the third child. Simply put, when you see a collectible pause the game. Grab your first child and drop it onto the collectible while still paused. I recommend dropping the children in a triangle, usually in the upper left corner.
Grab the next child and position them about the middle of the collectible on the right side. As soon as you un-pause the game with the spacebar, you must drop the child and pause it as soon as you possibly can. This is where you will most likely screw up, you have to be as quick as you can on this one.
Once again grab another child and put them in the lower left hand corner of the collectible. Take care to try to space them apart just a bit, if you drop one on top of the others it doesn't work. Again un-pause the game using the spacebar and drop the child, timing is the key here, you need to be nearly synchronized with the spacebar. If you've done it correctly there will be a slight delay in the third child but they should reach down and begin the process. Using this trick you can triple the amount of tech points per collectible. Very handy in the beginning of the game or when you get an uncommon or rare collectible.

Hey all
I feel kinda stupid having played the other 4 games but I cannot figure out how to get a villager to 'master' anything. My scientists has been at 'adept' for two days now. Please help! D:

In refference to 'How to make the end of the world' Posted by: Ian | March 20, 2011 2:47 AM

What is the end of the world, and how do you get 'infinite energy'?

I have completed this game twice and have come accross not mention o9f either of these.

Anyone feel free to reply.

Thank you

Hey everyone,
I'm having lots of trouble with the Blocking Totem and the Mausoleum, since I only have two Master Builders and 339 energy. I can get it to 82%, which REALLY frustrates me! I use Lightning, then Lightning, more lightning, then randomly find these common relics and use bees, but then my work goes down the drain. :/ Any tips? Besides wait for more Tech points for Construction and Spirituality?

I have pretty much completed the game w/108 villagers. What is hard to figure out is (Jenga), how can you use Earthquake on a partially built hut when you need all huts to get to a high number of villagers and a high number of villagers to get to Earthquake? It's counter productive. I have read most of the comments and have yet found the solution.

when i converted the heathen farmer the story said that the chief had a daughter...who is she?

I was wondering about the same thing. Never read anything anywhere before about 'end of world'. Hope Ian or somebody sets it straight.

TO Lawrence--

Jenga can be used on any building. Nursery, clothing hut, etc. First time I played I saved nursery for Jenga. Since then I've also used sewing hut cuz I got rainbow totem down before I even had that hut to build. All the housing huts will have to be built before you get earthquake power as you pointed out but hold off building the nursery until you have the 800 energy. Hope this helps.:)

I am wondering how do you make a clothing hut? And get your builders to masters because I built everything that was there (love shack, statue, food bin, hut)?

Please help!

The Red Factor Man March 27, 2011 6:22 PM

Is there a trick to faster tech points without the risk of no food or death of tribe/village/inhabitants (of isola)

Plz post back any help you can give

EZEEKOOL March 27, 2011 9:03 PM

To QC:
Thanks for your resonse, lets hope someone can get us the answers

Hi guys, I was wondering, how do I take down the blocking totem, because the most i've gotten is 40% before the savages repaired it. It's REALLY frustrating because all the yellows and reds are burying the mausoleum and my energy runs out before I can keep them away, also they seem to become 'immune' to the bees after awhile, the blockage is up to 687% !!!!

I can't do level 6, 7 or the eye one GRRRR!!!!!

Catherine Jernigan March 28, 2011 10:14 PM

To finish the blocking totem. I had 3 master builders. I put them on the block waiting for everyone to arrive to build it back. Then I used lightning. Put my 3 master builders back to work. I used bees to keep the red away and kids to keep the yellow away. I ended up letting ered and yellow come back and hitting them with lightning and bees again for the blocking totem to be totally demolished.

cookiemafster March 29, 2011 7:40 AM

puddock : re master builders ---- I too had the same problem. What I did was used Thunder on the mauseleum to drive the everyone away and placed my builders to clear it. i kept the orange masks away by distracting them with children and kept them far away long enough with butterflies. They just kept chasing the children. I used the bees to keep the red mask away as long as possible. and just kept repeating it. But i didn't want to clear the maosoleum completely until i tear down the totem.

Anonymous March 29, 2011 7:12 PM

To get population past 90

I saved as many heathens as possible until after I had 90 population, then started converting them which added to my population. Earthquake converts them as well as the regular way.

samantha March 30, 2011 7:24 AM

EVERY single time i go to convert the heathen master builder, and use time warp, my master builder always some how moves from there when he is in the mdiddle of the contest. so i cant pass. what do i do? -__-

colleen merrifield March 30, 2011 6:30 PM

When I try to do the build-off with the heathen builder, after I give my builder the speed-up he leaves the area. When I drop him back onto the pile he will not continue to build. Anyone have a solution??? Thank you

The best way to be the beat the Blocking Totem is to tear down the mausoleum at the beginning of the game. There are only 3 blue heathens and touching them with an adult they will run when you start tearing down the mausoleum. Once the mausoleum is completed all red and yellow heathens leave, and then no heathen bothers you when it comes time to tear down the Blocking totem. I realize if one has already started the game this is useless, but use it for further reference. During the game, Catherine Jernigan seems to have a good solution.

To: Samantha
First drop the time warp on your Master builder, he will run away. When he stops, find him and then put him at the challenge spot. Make sure the Master builder is sitting at his regular spot before you start. Your Master builder will clearly out build the heathen Master builder once you put yours down.

how else can i get food? my first trib died of starvation and now my second tibe is following their footsteps! what should i... what cam i do?! please help! they all keep dieing and its a pain to keep starting over and over and over D:.

Anonymous March 31, 2011 1:04 AM

Put them on the rock formation below the hospital above the waterfall and the action bar will say "enjoying the waterfall" and then they will walk to the edge and jump in.

its better if you pause it, put 5-8 people on the rocks then play and then all the adults will come running to jump in aswell

dwaiccankitten March 31, 2011 5:02 PM

so im reading over some of the posts, and i don't know what this "mommy heathen" is...ive converted all but the reds and oranges (nowi have to wait for fricken ever to get the earthquake done) but i don't think i ever saw a pregnant heathen

I just converted the blue-mask-mum. I all-ready thought she looked a bit funny but now that her mask is gone I'm shocked! She is a HE! It's a male nursing. It's by-far the weirdest I've ever seen on VV.
Are there more people who ever experienced this?

Can i ask?
how to burry dead bodies in Virtual villager 5
because their bodies annoys me

dawiccankitten April 1, 2011 8:52 AM how long do we have to wait for the "renew" god power? im constantly having to use the bloom on my crops and/or noni because i have 45 villagers *now got my twins YAY* and the food is going really fast. i left the game running while i did stuff yesterday and came back and had like 500 food left after the bin was overflowing. when does that power emerge so i can get my lake full of fish?

dawiccankitten April 1, 2011 11:01 AM

you have to unbury the mosuleum(sp?) and then drop a villager onto the bones..they'll "bury" the dead like they do in the others, only they'll take it to the mosuleum. if you don't have it unburied yet the bones will eventually go away

Anonymous April 1, 2011 11:49 AM

Every time i do the speed thing to beat the purple mask my guy starts and immediately disappears elsewhere and dies like five minutes later. What's the problem?

momtomeno April 1, 2011 8:01 PM

Just got the fish in the pond!

You use the revive wings in the pond. You get them when you reach 600 points!

dawiccankitten April 3, 2011 10:19 AM

towards the end after you focus on the last lil area of red and yellow masks, did anyone have Racal's name and "occupation" change?

Can someone please tell me how to increase my devotion and build a fourth hut so that I can increase the population

dawiccankitten April 4, 2011 12:02 AM

i am having a hard time converting the last heathens the yellows and reds... i would appreciate any feedback

dawiccankitten April 4, 2011 10:16 AM

i also have two women who have been nursing for i don't know how long. they started nursing when i reached a full population and other women have nursed since and gotten rid of the children but these two have not. and since i've had some old age deaths i have room for the children now.

Anonymous April 5, 2011 2:38 AM

Hi - I apologise if someone has already asked/answered this questions... but... WHAT ON EARTH IS THE FOG OF DOOM FOR??? Thx, Tiff

dawiccankitten April 5, 2011 3:36 PM

JLGuest the fog of doom is used to "hide" your villagers. they can see through it to work *even if you can't see jack shit through it yourself LOL* but the red and yellow heathens can't.

nortonstrixie April 6, 2011 9:38 AM

To Get all the Heathens to Convert... Continue with the Earthquakes. Still never saw the "Mommy Heathen".... Does anyone have any suggestions?

thecatsme0w April 7, 2011 2:26 AM

The only God Power that would improve this game would be "Smite" (and I would use it once - on that rotten little Rascal heathen brat).

Otherwise really well done game.

dawiccankitten April 7, 2011 9:39 PM

eventually rascal changes...he did for me.. and the mommy heathen from what i understand is only in the game ifyou bought it directly from last day of work...

help though...i've had three villagers stuck at nursing forever....and they are about to get old..are they goign to die before they let this kid go? I mean... i can have 95 villagers i only have 75 so i dunno WHY they aren't dropping the kids... i haven't messed with my clock or anything

dawiccankitten April 8, 2011 9:48 AM

Ania unless they've already had devotion you can't increase it. just as its very difficult to get the "master devotte young" unless you use the god power to make your adult a child. if they have some devotion already, you can set them to be devotee's and they will randomly honor at the statue *if its fully done*. but while you set them for that i also recommend you also have them do another "job" and have them go back to honoring randomly.sometimes it takes a while for them to start.

i don't know about the fourth hut though i only have three and my population can be 95. maybe once you reach the 100 stage you get one.

I tried you suggestion for Jenga and found out that you have to use Earthquake when you first start to build. If you get past 3% of the building, the Earthquake will not completely tear down the building, it will only reduce the building by 4%. Next time I will try on the nursery. FYI: I had an elder (68) with child die, I revived and the child was also revived. Then I granted her youth and she still held onto the child. A 4 year old carrying a child. Wonder what happens at feeding time?

You're right about the reduction of building going down a small percentage if you have any significant building done but I was still able to get star (trophy) for Jenga without having to completely destroy the building. My first game tho I had saved the nursery and I think I used earthquake at the beginning of building it (so long ago I don't remember exactly) but used it on sewing hut in latter games and it still gave me Jenga. BTW I also imported the earthquake power from my first tribe because I only had 26 villagers (4th tribe & speed game for me) and completed all puzzles. I got Jenga on hut that was over 30% built. You should have Jenga even when you reduce progress on building. That should be considered as 'reset a project'. My opinion, of course, but it did work for me. Tribe 4 still have alot of stars to do yet.(only got 24). Hope this makes sense! :)

Well I left my game on fast accidentally for a few hours and I dont have any girls now! I still have some heathens I can convert?... Help?

Aust rules April 9, 2011 4:15 PM

Who is the "Mommy Heathen"?

Aust rules April 9, 2011 4:17 PM

How do you fix the aqueduct? Help!

Okay, so, I've been using a devotee to convert people, of course. And now, after about 6 hours, every single blue-masked person has the yellow light over their head, the "back off, I'm not listening to your crud anymore" one. Any help? Do i need to restart this game... AGAIN?

Anonymous April 10, 2011 3:00 AM

For the Rainbow Totem, you don't need anything. All you have to do it put the bees on the red masked heathen and put a villager on the totem. You don't need to have the clothing hut. I completed it as my second totem with nothing but the hungry totem completed.

To Cody:
Hopefully ya have female heathens to convert. Sounds like your only salvation. You didn't mention how far along in game you are or which heathens you have left. Once ya get a female heathen converted, start making babies (hope they're girls). Good luck! =)

To Aust:
If you received the game when it first came out you will have a "mommy heathen". It would show up on lower left side of your puzzle page. If it's not there then you don't have one. He/she will be the one with a blue mask carrying baby usually hanging at the 'filthy encampment". As for fixing the aqueduct you first have to have a master scientist and a few adept builders. Place your m.s. on broken part of aqueduct and they will supervise then put builders on and they will repair. You have to supervise a little yourself cuz they tend to roam away. Hope this helps!

dawiccankitten April 10, 2011 1:07 PM

no comments or help about these women with babies? if they die and you revive them, and the kid revies too...does that mean they are STILL going to be nursing?

When I use the Fog of Doom to talk to the heathens, I can talk to one of the red masks. Could just be a glitch, but hey. Pretty neat

Anyone ?
Still waiting to hear about this 'End of the world thing' and how to get 'infinate energy' ?
I have played the game 4 times now and still not come across any mention of either.

To dawiccankitten and others: About women carrying babies for a long time.
It appears to happen if a woman has been 'granted youth'. It seems innconsistant, some eventually release the babies, sometimes the babies die while being carried, and sometimes the women die still carrying the babies It would appear to be some kind of glitch. I tried to 'revive' one of these women, but she died again emmediately.
I would be interested to hearing from anyone having any other info.

Please helpt me! I don't get how tu full the lake?I try with tunders but it didn't work out;/

dawiccankitten April 11, 2011 3:33 PM

-.- are you serious? GAH... how the heck am i supposed to get the jack of all trades if i can't do anymore devotion cause my ladies won't drop the babies -.-

*considers punting the game....decides not to...grumbles*

Thanks for the reminder that Eating is a healing activity! I should have used it when one of my first settlers had become Elderly and her Health bar was receding. (Reversed that with more Medical research ... for now.) Have used it since on less severe Health problems.

Someone asserted regarding a previous VV that Research was the hardest on Health--stress and/or lab accidents, perhaps--and Farming had the least Health impact. It may be so in VV5 as well.

JennyHug81 April 11, 2011 6:28 PM

How do you get infinite energy?

Anonymous April 12, 2011 3:02 AM

Two questions:

1. I havae been playing the game for 4 weeks and only ever encountered 8 island events (and these were all WEEKS AGO!). Any suggestions?

2. I've been using the "lure Rascal into a corner and hit menu" trick to get rid of Rascal, but she keeps getting free and coming back after about 5 mintues. Again, any suggestions?

Thx, Tiff

dawiccankitten April 12, 2011 4:59 AM

i got a villager that's been weakened for some time.... i tried everything i can think of, randomly letting them eat, having them farm...still nothing. it started when he was like 20ish...any ideas?

To JennyHug81:
EZEEKOOL and I both want to know the same thing!! Back on March 20 someone called Ian posted on how to make end of world and about infinite energy. We're still waiting for a response. I, too, have had 4 tribes and haven't a clue as to what it's about.

Sorry, can't help with baby problem, never had it. From what I've read it has something to do w/your population count. So many villagers have to die before mom will release child. If your population is overmaxed (from converting the last of the heathens) then I guess you would have to have your population lowered. Not positively sure but that may be the problem. :/

Try putting that villager on food hut several times. After a few times it should say that villager is healthier after eating. You'll have to do this many times depending on how weak they are. Seeing as there are no potions to make it's the only thing I know. Keep checking status after you MAKE them eat and you'll see it rises slowly. :)

Marygrace April 12, 2011 6:20 AM

Just like the others, I'm wondering what is the land just above the lake with broken benches, clay pot and the hut in the ground do. I've been dropping my villagers there but nothing happen. What is that place?. Can someone or anyone help please.

The light above the blue peoples heads wont go out and it's been over an hour on fast. I haven't messed with the clock or anything but they still won't go out. Is this a glitch or is it supposed to happen?

JennyHug81 April 12, 2011 2:39 PM

For the lake, I waited until after it rained when there were still puddles in the lake, then I hit the lake with the tempest power (rain drops), then hit the lake with the revive power (wings).

dawiccankitten April 12, 2011 3:25 PM

thanks QC i'll give that a try tonight!@

dawiccankitten April 12, 2011 3:39 PM

hey!! Thanks QC it worked! tho i think i am going to have to keep checking back i did it repeatedly for like ten minutes and he still isn't 100% healthy but he's not weakened anymore!

I've played since Jan. and have only 13/50 events on my oldest tribe. Like villagers cured (63/100)it is a random event and probably will take a long time to complete.
2 Not sure about that 'lure and hit menu' thing but I have "held" rascal off many times by using a nursing mother or an extra kid as a lure. Get rascal (w/butterflies) to a remote area and while holding your 'lure' over rascal (or any yellow heathen)hit the M key. When you return from the map all heathens that were chasing 'lure' will be locked. I like the forst where they go when it rains but that's after its cleared of trees. Rascal usually breaks free at some point (hence the name) so I repeat when rascal becomes a nuisance.
Marygrace: That is called the filthy encampment and it will change after you've converted all heathens.
No matter what speed you're on, the lights take a few hrs. (usually 2-3)
So glad it helped. Keeping an eye on all villagers from time to time can alert you if there's a problem.
Hope this was some help! =)

dawiccankitten April 13, 2011 7:05 AM

just fyi something i noticed. when i converted rascal.. i didn't know until like.. a lil bit later cause i kept lookin for the lil bastard and finally had to count the heathens since he was in the encampent when i did it... his name changed and he grew up. rather scary. bonus he had devotion so that helped a lot.

Ok, so I have cleared mausoleum...or so I thought. It says there is 0% blockage, but there is still a construction thing outside of it and a big tree trunk in it, plus I can't get them to bury the dead there and it says that the puzzle hasn't been completed. Help! I've tried to put builders back on it, but since it says 0% blockage, they don't stay working on it because there's nothing to work on. I'm afraid it's just a glitch and there's nothing I can do to fix it. Any ideas?!?

dawiccankitten April 15, 2011 7:29 PM

i got two of my women to drop their babies... purely by accident really... i had been waiting and waiting for someone to die *sad isn't it* and i know there's more then one way to raise parenting up, and i needed more children so i started to use the 'speed up' on the eldery. Two of them were my women who've been nursing for a full RT week.. ^_^ they dropped the kid eventually before they croaked

I'm trying to solve the Big Kahuna puzzle. I finished the necklace, a child assembled it. Then 1st time I dropped a child on it and it was "confused", then I dropped an adult on it and it was also "confused", but the bottom of the screen said something like 'there's no where to bring the necklace'. So, i assumed I had to wait for the chief to come out. Now he's out (I have the game paused) and I'm getting the same results as above.

Any ideas? Does the chief need to be doing something specific?

dawiccankitten April 17, 2011 1:36 AM

you need to unclear the grove, dianibm where that totem is with the hole in it's head? you have to put something in there so you can see beyond the trees.

Thanks in advance.

i need master builders for the buling totem thing, but they always stop fixing the huts and wont polish the statue ):
+ i cant get a nursery cause i need like 30,000 more tech points. help?

dawiccankitten April 18, 2011 10:20 AM

austin and VVfann -- what i did was i randomly scared the heathens away from the 'blockage'and just kept them working on it. granted you will have to do this a lot but it does tend to bring the building up

hunnisugar it has to be an unfinished building

Aust rules April 18, 2011 12:41 PM

Aust rules April 18, 2011 1:18 PM

Thanks a Bunch- Aust

You can disassemble the rainbow totem WITHOUT the colored ink pots!

Simply use some well placed bees and the red masked heathen will move away enough that a few builder villagers will not be scared away. This may need to be repeated a few times.

This was one of the first few totems I removed without hardly any resources. Happy gaming!
